Talented Gunnel Nyman designed controlled bubble series at Finland Nuutajärvi glass factory in 1940's. The quality of the light as it travels through the glass was a major interest for her. She considered material as the most essential factor in design , to a point that, in her opinion, each object had only one material that it could be made from. Beautiful small bubble glass with amber-yellow color. Vase is approx 10 cm tall (4") and a diameter of 10 cm (4"). In stunning condition with only minimal signs of use.
