Rare, Vintage Steuben Art Glass Vase Description and Item Information Up for sale is this large and rare, vintage Steuben art glass vase. Please excuse any glare in the photos. This pale yellow or ivory-colored glass vase is acid-etched with the art deco Stamford pattern, which features six raised gazelles around the sides of the piece.
The vase is approximately 10 1/4 inches tall, with a maximum width of about 9 1/2 inches. Unpacked, this heavy piece weighs 7 pounds 14.7 ounces. The flat base has a central, round, polished pontil area. This spectacular vase would be a fine addition to a Frederick Carder era Steuben glass collection. Identification As shown in Photo 9, this vintage Steuben vase has an acid-etched fleur de lis mark with a "Steuben" banner.This is Steuben shape number 2683 in the Stamford pattern, and the glass color is called Ivory. Condition This vase looks great overall, with no chips or cracks. There is light wear overall. There are wear marks beneath, as expected on a piece of heavy, vintage glass. Payments must be received within three days of the end of the listing, unless prior arrangements have been made.
