Rare 1900 Antique Loetz/Kralik/Pallme Koenig "Burgundy Swirl on Gold". Veined Opalescent Art Glass Vase. For your consideration is a fine antique Bohemian Art Nouveau hand/mold blown art glass vase dating to the early.

Fantastic piece and extraordinary example of Bohemian art glass at its finest production. To all three glasshouses listed above. The craftsmanship found in this gorgeous vase is superb, the beautiful amethyst threads were produced with trails of hot glass wound around the iridescent glass forming a network then blown into a mold so that the trails were pressed into the glass. The body is a gourd form and cut from the top. Xamples of the well documented "Burgundy Swirl on Gold".

This piece is spectacular, the opalescent finish creates a rainbow of color when exposed to certain light sources. Photos do not capture the true beauty of this fascinating piece! The vase is considered to be in overall excellent condition, as there are no cracks, chips or restorations. The vase measures approximately 8 1/2 tall.
