Rare Early Tina Cooper Blue Iridescent Art Glass Vase Sculpture 1996 Australian Sea Life 27 cm High Hand Blown Exquisite Design. 27 cm (10.5) High. Rare early blue iridescent Art Glass vase/sculpture hand made in Australia, in 1996, by Tina Cooper. This vase has been signed by Tina Cooper on the base, together with 1996 etched in. This is a superb modern piece, which looks beautiful, and like her more recent works, is inspired by Sea Life - the flora and fauna of the ocean. It features gorgeous iridescent blue, and a multitude of other colours which swirl and spot the globe like bowl, set on a clear (but again, iridescent) plant-like pedestal, forming a stem of twisted branching tendrils, which extend out, and wrap around the blue globular bowl. There is a fin-like extension on one side, and also a twisting, spiralling section, wrapped around what looks like a small golden shell. This vase stands about 27 cm (10.5) tall, and weighs around 750 g.
It looks to be in excellent condition, with no obvious damage to it, and it will make a superb addition to your collection. This is a rare large, early piece by Tina Cooper.
Her pieces sell for many thousands, and sometimes tens of thousands of dollars, so don't miss out on this rare early art glass vase by Tina Cooper. Check out my other items.
