Art Deco Vintage Kralik Glass Vase Description and Item Information Up for sale is this beautiful, vintage Bohemian glass vase by Kralik. Please excuse the glare in the photos. This vase has a shapely, footed form; it stands approximately 7 inches in height and it is about 5 3/8 inches in diameter. Unpacked, it weighs 1 pound 2.5 ounces. There is line and cane decoration.

The glass fluoresces under a black light, as shown. This would be a fine addition to a vintage European art glass collection.

Identification This vase was made by the well-known Czechoslovakian glass firm, Kralik. The decor is known as Line and Canes. This piece has an etched mark beneath which says, CZECHOSLOVAKIA. Kralik had a long and fragmented history of production, conducting business to some degree from early in the 19th century until just until World War II.

Kralik produced high quality art glass of various types throughout its long history. Condition The vase looks very good overall, with light wear and no cracks. The upper rim has some minor flakes and roughness, probably from factory grinding and finishing. The base has age-appropriate wear scratches, and there are a few scattered scratches/scuffs elsewhere.

Some tiny bubbles in the glass are as made. Payments must be received within three days of the end of the listing, unless prior arrangements have been made.
