1930's Art Deco Uranium Glass Vase By Sowerby. The pattern of chrysanthemums is sandblasted to give a matt finish, the rest of the vase, with its art deco angular pattern, is left shiny. Sowerby's (of Gateshead in the North East of England) were making beautiful pieces of pressed uranium glass in the 1930's until the Second World War. Please see last two pictures two chips to corner feet, these appear to have been smoothed ground. These are only visible upon close inspection.
