Anja Isphording 1989 Art Glass Vase - Signed Cast Carved Studio Glass 17cm Beautiful and rare early studio glass vase by internationally recognised artist Anja Isphording, signed and dated'89 on the base. This piece is created in her iconic cast and carved glass technique, featuring layered frosted surfaces, deep carved motifs and inlaid colour details in purple, gold and clear tones. This is an excellent collector's piece from one of the most respected contemporary glass sculptors. Signed & dated: Isphording'89 (engraved on base). Technique: Cast glass / pâte-de-verre with carved and inlaid decoration. Height: 17 cm, diameter 7cm. Colour: Frosted white with purple and gold details. Origin: Europe (Germany/Canada - studio practice).

Period: 1980s studio glass Condition: Very good condition with no cracks or structural damage. Light, minor signs of age on the surface consistent with handmade cast glass.
