Red Ombre Art Glass Vase with clear applied rigaree swirls attributed to Polish artist, Jerzy Sluczan-Orkusz from the 1970's. This has a red ombre finish with light red at the base with red hues going to a ruby red color at the vase top. Lighter at the base of the vase and going to a more ruby red towards the top of the vase. The vase is 7 1/2 inches tall at is 3 1/4 inches at base and 2 3/4 inches at top of vase opening. This Polish art glass vase is attributed to the designs of JERZY SLUCZAN-ORKUSZ.
I believe this piece to be from the 1970's. Sluczan-Orkusz won multiple awards for his glass design and composition.
This vase is not signed, but this style of vase and Rigaree work is shown to be the work of the Polish artist, Jerzy Stuczan-Orkusz. You can visit his website and see this vase exhibited as part of his works. This red art glass ombre piece is a medium height vase of 7 1/2 inches with ruby red glass ombre shading. The clear glass ribbon/ rigaree overlaying the vase towards the bottom half of the base and a clear rim on the base.I see only 2 small bubbles, which are normal for handcrafted glass. One of the bubbles is near the middle of the vase and one is on the vase base.
The rigaree clear glass swirl decor pieces are 3 1/2 inches tall and appear in the middle part of this vase. CONDTION: This vase is not new and has been displayed. It is in excellent overall condition.
There are no chips, cracks or other noted issues. All ribbons are intact with no chips, cracks or issues. All pieces are handmade and truly one of a kind art pieces.
