Blown Glass bud Vase in the Manner of Napoleone Martinuzzi. Very rare "soffiato" blown glass vase in the manner of Napoleone Martinuzzi, dating to the late 1920s.

The color is an elegant light aquamarine blue. This very light delicate vase has a "Costolato" ribbed design all over the surface with a very unusual narrowing under the middle line reminiscent of Martinuzzi's work. There is a presence of micro-particles of ash which would indicate it was pre-gas fueled furnace production.

Vases of this series were one of the iconic designs by Martinuzzi who created several different shapes. Please feel free to also check out my other products I have listed.
