Buzzini started his career in glass in 1970, this piece is very much considered one of his early works, likely at CSU Chico in California. He is very well known for his art glass paperweights today made in Northern Oregon. The vase itself has a very small opening, about a 1/4 with a bulb neck and flared top. The body is pinched to form a three sided, pinched appearance.
The silver tone texture, I imagine is a heavy foil of sorts that is applied and fused with the amber glass. An absolutely stunning piece to add to your collection.
