EXBOR Art Glass Vase 9 Tall CZECH Glass Pavel HLAVA 1970s

  

EXBOR art glass vase designed by Pavel Hlava and dating from, I believe, the 1970s. Stunning sommerso cased glass, the layers are white in the inside, a beautiful caramel colour then a clear outer layer. It stands 23cm or 9" tall and 8pm or just over 3" wide. It is a solid heavy slab of glass.

The vase is signed to the base but indistinguishable and not easy to photograph. You often see these vases in dark blue but the caramel colour I have never seen before.

Wot no major scratches or chips. The base has light surface scratching commensurate with age.
