Exceedingly Rare Hans Bolek Loetz Cameo Art Deco Nouveau Tango Pedestal Vase

  

Presented is an exceedingly rare Loetz cameo enameled Art Deco glass vase designed by Hans Bolek, circa 1924. For the advanced collector, this is an excellent museum equivalent copy of one of the rarest Hans Bolek designs.

The technique used to create this cameo piece is very difficult. The base glass is a creamy translucent glass with a deep violet or espresso colored glass towards the base. The vase is ruffled with a pedestal shaped base. The enamel work is equally stunning. The bottom sports a perfectly polished pontil mark.

The vase dates to the Art Deco which is prevalent in the design. The vase is in excellent condition with no damages. This is a vintage antique piece, so some wear or light scratches can be expected. Measures 7.25" tall by 6.5" wide.
