GERMAN WMF JUGENDSTIL ART NOUVEAU SILVER PLATED BRASS VASE VASELINE GLASS INSERT. Vase silver plated cast brass frame is hand hammered decorated in a floral art nouveau pattern, consisting of four flower branches on a square rising base and all four branches with their leaves and flower petals support a beautiful vaseline glass insert flower shaped. An absolutely stunning very showy and stable Vase which comes exactly as found with its original vaseline glass insert for your table or to be displayed in your cabinet WMF collection. "Ostrich mark" consists of the image of a running ostrich put inside the rhombus with a two-line inscription WMF/G (G is for Geislingen), which is in turn placed in a dashed rectangle. The fraction "I/0" means the normal thickness of silver deposited onto the surface of the base metal usually on brass. Comes with its original vaseline glass insert.

WMF Vase is in a very good condition, with an authentic age patina, shows wear as can be expected from a used vase of its age, shows slight scratches, silver plating loss, but brass frame is without hairline cracks, cracks, breaks, damage or any restoration. Original vaseline glass insert is in a good condition, without hair line cracks, chips, breaks, the only is a tiny flake chip at the top of the rim interior edge as shown in my photos, the interior of the glass insert is slight blurred white stained because of the use and of the sediment.
