Italian hand blown glass & silver vases Sottsass Associati for Egizia

  

Designed by artists from the internationally renowned Sottsass Associati design group, these beautiful silver overlay vases are made by Egizia in Italy from hand-blown, transparent glass and manually screen printed 980/1000 silver. Egizia has produced beautiful decorative glassware from its workshops in Italy since 1949 with the intention of creating stylish and sophisticated glass and crystal objects, skilfully fusing the traditional arts of silk screen printing and glass blowing; crafting striking, contemporary and colourful designs using the age-old, hand techniques. With the freshness and desire to create new things, the Sottsass's designers offered designs for an innovative and international range of contemporary objects for Egizia. The result of this collaboration is the collection called "Handle with care" or HWC.

These particular four designs are by Marc. O Susani, Barbara Forni, Defni Koz and Natalie Jean. To achieve that interior design look, they look stunning clustered together with delicate flowers. Given that these vases are entirely hand-made, wash in warm soapy water to keep them looking their best.

Do not put them in the dishwasher.
