A stunning hand-blown studio art glass vase of elegant attenuated bottle form, standing approximately 46cm (18 inches) tall. This striking piece features beautifully layered amber, honey, olive, cream and smoky brown bands encased within clear glass, creating a dramatic agate, onyx or geological strata effect. The decoration displays attractive elongated "eye" inclusions within the trailing, adding depth and interest when viewed from different angles. The vase has a particularly elegant profile, with a gently tapering body flowing into a long slender neck and wide flared disc rim. Its sculptural form and distinctive decoration make it a true statement piece, whether displayed alone or as part of a studio glass collection. The base retains its polished pontil mark, confirming traditional hand-blown manufacture.

Condition Very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs noted. There is a small area of old adhesive residue to the base, suggesting a label may once have been present, although no label survives and no attribution can be confirmed.
