Orlando Zennaro Murano glass vase. A canne blue, clear and green with pinched neck. 14.7cm height, approx 15.5cm max diameter.

Excellent, no chips or cracks. The Venetian native Orlando Zennaro began his career 1942 at the age of ten and he rose to become director of production for Vistosi before he opened his own studio in 1970 at the age of thirty eight. We do not know if this was made when at Vistosi or later. The earliest examples were made in 1961.

I have been involved in the antiques business since 1971. My career took a leap forward when I joined Bonhams in 1976. Some five years later I became head of the Decorative Arts department.
