Pair of Sklo Union Czech Glass Vases by Rudolf Schrotter for. A mid-century modern large and heavy Iconic Czech Republic Vase. Dates from the 1930s - 1960s.

A timeless statement piece with its use of ribbed or' rigadin' texture and geometric shape. Features the distinctive turquoise blue colour sometimes referred as Azura or KingFisher.

This original piece of art glass features a pressed glass technique in a vibrant turquoise colour, representing the iconic style of the Sklo Union Design. These are an exact match as Sklo Union Pressed Glass can vary in colour under lighting conditions. I have found this personally when making up pairs for my home. These were from my personal collection but have decided to bring them up for sale. A stunning addition to any vintage collection, the vase showcases the craftsmanship and design of the era, making it a unique and decorative piece for any glass enthusiast.

Finished with a crisp ground flat or polished base. Very minor wear to ground base due to age which you have to really look for and one air bubble due to the manufacturing technique of the time. Please see pictures for full description and condition. Measures 10cm in diameter x 20cm high.

The vases will be stuffed with paper, then additionally wrapped in paper with 3 layers of bubblewrap. This will be then placed in a sleeve of cardboard and a box with additional cushioning.

Finally it will be double boxed and more cushioning to ensure there is no movement in transit. I pack carefully with recycled materials, fragile items are double boxed to ensure you receive what you have ordered safely.
