Please note that you should always expect to see some age-related marks or signs of wear such as very surface scratches/marks on the outer surface with movement. Due to many glass items been handmade, you may see small imperfections such as bubbles, inclusions & lumps/speckles within the glass mass and often tool marks which can be seen from where they have been shaped and worked during the manufacturing/making/blowing process.

We mention this because most people such as collectors of glass and dealers including new buyers of glass do not look as faults or damage, but as part of the character and due to the age/type of hand made/blown manufactured glass and are not usually mentioned in the main description of the listings. Please note that when purchasing glass it is very important to make yourself aware of the many different types of glass making techniques such as free-form irregular shaped glass. This type of glass technique is typically handmade/blown where each piece is unique and totally free-form with irregular shape and uneven design. Free-form glass often has the more dramatic shapes and free flowing designs and should never be considered as perfect in form. Please note that freeform glass often results with irregular uneven surfaces where the glass will never sit totally flat and often with uneven and irregular tilts. This kind of glass formation is all part of glass design and character and in not considered as defects. Please note that many items we sell can look very similar to those of a different maker and designer and very often we do not know ourselves. An example of this is Murano & Czech designers have made very similar shapes and sizes and in some cases near identical pieces, so it is for this reason you will often see the words'Murano Czech' used in our listings.

Our Listings: We work very hard to try and always be as 100% accurate with each of our listings as we can, including the pictures, descriptions and condition reports. We also work hard in researching our items so we can bring an accurate report including the history whenever or wherever possible. Many of our items come from around the world and can be of modern and vintage construction with many items we are unable to identify the makers or designers. We will off course make every effort we can to name or even suggest the maker or designer of everything we sell, but if we are unsure this will clearly be stated in all of our listings. Particularly with furniture and collectibles items where individual items may be an exact copy or similar design to many famous names and designs.

Glass is something we love for its colour shape and size whether it's of a vintage/antique to a modern-day construction including any reproduction items. Please also keep in mind that sometimes there will be very small differences in colour design although not normally noticeable if at all.
