A striking mid-century Czech art glass "bullet" vase, designed by Rudolf Schrötter for the Rosice glassworks. This sculptural piece features a classic cylindrical bullet form with rounded shoulders and a thick, weighted base. The glass is a rich emerald green, with darker internal currents and elongated oval lens-like distortions created during casing, giving depth and movement to the surface. The base is polished and recessed, clearly showing the layered construction. The weight, clarity, and colour saturation are all consistent with quality Rosice production from the post-war period.
Schrötter's designs are admired for their architectural restraint and strong use of colour, and this vase is a confident, well-balanced example. Condition: Very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs A classic piece of Czech modernist glass with strong decorative presence.
