Scarce Signed Eric Dobson Mdina Art Glass Blue Sea & Sand Goblet Vase. This stunning piece is a particularly nice example of the popular goblet design by Mdina Glass.

Created in the Sea & Sand pattern, this beautiful piece was inspired by the beaches of Malta. Knowing that the Mdina artists were reluctant to sign their pieces unless absolutely enamored with them, this chalice is a rarity as it is signed by Eric Dobson. Dobson founded the company with Michael Harris in 1968 and was responsible for some of the most iconic designs/patterns imagined at the company.

It's sea blues & splash of sandy yellow colours, thick tactile glass and large knop stem, alongside it's particularly fine proportions make this iconic piece of Maltese art glass a special addition to any collection or display! Artist Signed'Mdina Glass Malta' on base followed by Eric Dobson's signature.

Just over 6.5in or 16.5cm tall, just over 3.5in or just over 9cm wide at widest point which is rim to rim. Base is just over 3.25in or just over 9cm wide and the opening has a diameter of 3.25in or just over 8cm. Condition is'Used' - Good Condition.
