Created in the Sea & Sand pattern, this beautiful piece was inspired by the beaches of Malta. Knowing that the Mdina artists were reluctant to sign their pieces unless absolutely enamored with them, this chalice is a rarity as it is signed by Eric Dobson. Dobson founded the company with Michael Harris in 1968 and was responsible for some of the most iconic designs/patterns imagined at the company.It's sea blues & splash of sandy yellow colours, thick tactile glass and large knop stem, alongside it's particularly fine proportions make this iconic piece of Maltese art glass a special addition to any collection or display! Artist Signed'Mdina Glass Malta' on base followed by Eric Dobson's signature.
