ITEM DESCRIPTION: Original Scottish Art Glass Vase in a Golden Brown colourway with a sparkling sea of gold aventurines to the top half and with a wonderful mottled pattern to the light orange base. Stamped'Vasart' this can be dated between 1946 and 1964, but possibly earlier as the aventurines are not a common design style, this was taken from earlier pre-war Monart Glass (there is a full story regarding the Ysart family and Monart, Vasart and Strathearn glass).

A good, large 9 1/2 vase, this is a rare and excellent example of Vasart Glass. DIMENSIONS (cm): W 14 D 14 H 24.
