Stunning vintage Ferro & Lazzarini Murano Italian Sommerso art glass basket vase / sculpture. This substantial hand-blown piece features a dramatic sculptural loop handle with beautiful layers of ruby red, amber/gold, turquoise/blue-green and clear glass. The colors change beautifully depending on the lighting and viewing angle. The vase retains a partial original vintage Murano Glass Italy foil label.

The label shows age and wear but remains attached. Similar red-and-gold Murano Glass Italy labels are documented on Ferro & Lazzarini glass.

The large flattened loop-handle basket form is also consistent with documented Ferro & Lazzarini Sommerso basket designs.
