A stunning mid century faceted vase by Formia, made in Murano, Italy. This vase features a round dusky pink/ purple central core encased in a clear glass. The outside flares from the base and top in a number of large facets, catching the light from all angles and looking like a large gem. The top and base are square, with a square opening in the top. The original sticker label is present that reads Formia, Vetri di Murano, made in Italy.
A lovely piece, this brightens the room and would make a great statement in any mid century office, living room or bedroom. The inner colour is unusual and would make a fabulous addition to any collection. This is a vintage item and so may show signs of its previous life. Overall this vase is in fantastic condition. There is a small flea bite to the top. There are no chips or scratches and minimal wear to the base. There is a few marks/dirt on the inside that didn't come off with a rinse, however I haven't given it a thorough wash so these may come off.
Please see photos for details. It is approximately 20cm in height, and the base/ top are 4cm square. The vase is wider in the middle. The opening is approximately 2.5cm square. At Wand Vintage we are committed to sustainability.
