Vintage Hand Blown Murano Pink Opalescent Twin Handled Basket, circa 1970

  

A fine and stylish vintage Italian Murano art twin handled glass basket hand blow in pink opalescent glass with pulled raised loop handles touching in the centre. The basket of oval shape stands on a narrow rounded foot with polished pontil and has a lower rib moulded body in clear pink tinted glass graduating into opalescent glass with a heavy folded rim. The basket is not marked. Would make a beautiful Christmas gift.
